Not really. The things you've been railing against have nothing to do with that stuff. If your real problem is with the hollow, over-romanticized militant posturing, you would have attacked it outright instead of rolling in with this completely unrelated screed about how totally lame it is to not have a job and apartment.

Rat lives on a trailer park (i cant remember the UK word for it)... in one that he's made a nice extension to... in one of these properties you don't have to pay council tax (i hear)... so all in all, a good find... Im just wondering tho ,this girl erik is accused of doing various things to, would you kick her girlfriends teeth in too, for having under age sex with her? Do you not consider HER a paedophile? If not, why not?
Id be interested in chris' response to this too, as he has also not mentioned the other girl in this drama. Im just unsure why she hasnt been "kicked" out etc

If you think i support someone who is actually guilty of the allegations thrown at erik, youd me wrong. I just dont believe it all, going by the "evidence" and rumour mongering that has been going on in so cal. There are some people close to erik who dont believe it all, so that also makes me question the allegations.

And youd want to fight someone (i thought you just wanted to kick my teeth in, not actually fight me?) who doesnt believe something? Dude, you better do something to harden up your knuckles, cos theres a fuckin lot of teeth out there ha ha ha

You are incorrect to think living in a trailer (mobile home in the uk) means you do not pay council tax, you do have to pay it, tho it is the cheapest band, you just dont have to pay some shitty cunt mortgage company insane amounts of money for years on end.

well, while i have removed myself from this aspect of the conversation with rat due to its obviously unfruitful nature (better late than never,) i would say that i dont have the same feelings about the other girl because at no point was a lack of consent the issue between the two of them. the 15 year old in question never once expressed to me (nor anyone that i know of) that she was pressured into a 3 year relationship with the other girl. i dont view age as the most pertinent issue at hand, for me it is the lack of consent without coercion that i find concerning. additionally though, i would like to add that the difference between an 18 year old and a 15 year old may not be legally relevant (though it may be in contrast to that between a 15 year old and a 26 year old) but it is certainly relevant outside of legal parameters. an 18 year old is far closer in terms of mindset and experience than a 26 year old. as far as the legal age of consent in other countries go, i certainly did not enter this conversation to debate the idea of what age is an appropriate age of consent (however that could be an interesting conversation and i would say that girls in different societies are socialized in different manners according to the dominant social paradigm in those societies and thusly the mindset of an american 15 year old may be far different than the mindset of a dutch or japanese 15 year old in a number of ways,) but rather that the consent of a 15 year old girl was ignored by the sexual appetite of a 26 year old man. the age is not the main problem, but it quite surely exacerbates the concern about erik's behavior.

As for trailer parks, over here in the uk, the stigma is much less than in the us, tho people still may look down on you for it.

xchristopherx, I'm just writing to say a couple of posters whose first language is not english have told me when talking about this board that they can't understand what you have written due to the words you use.

in my own opinion, could you please use words you would use in general, every day conversation? We know you're intelligent, we know you're strongly opinionated but could you just type genuinly, there's no-one here benefitting with unnecessarily intellectual words.

I'm not being offensive, I guess i am being a post nazi but I've rephrased some of the stuff when posters have asked me what it meant and it could be said much more simplistically.

besides on top of that, I can see you and Rat want to debate and argue, bearing in mind he is a dyslexic fellow (as am i, except it's not spelling or words jumping out that is my problem, it's organisation, also mixing with dyspraxia) it's probably a wise choice to tone down on the overtly, un-needed words and just type normally.
