at fluff fest,

- nice to meet kurt although i never introduced myself, the kid who bought the black size S day of suffering hoodie, heya.

- crisis.. hey to you, legend

- all the guys from portugal, legends.

- the dudes who are making the edge movie.

- people behind the roots of compassion site.

- speaking to some dude in a statement - prepare for battle tshirt.

- not having the guts to go up to a girl i know off the internet and say hello to as i shaved my head and thought i looked pretty fucking stupid so didnt say hi

- finding out the real indentity of UK hip-hop artists

- the food.

- walking round with a really tall guy and im short, got a lot of people laughing.

- oh yeah and FINALLY TRYING KOFOLA....

- seeing together surprised me a lot, i thought they were amazing

- the effort, to kill, xrepresentx put on a good show too, june paik were great, have hearts last show in europe was amazing viewing as i've never seen them before. gave an emotional pat flynn a hug at the end, aww, one slow song with shouting by rise and fall got my heart pumping.

- seeing my shitty little, messy hand-writing and roughly structured article in the fluff zine '09

- but all round TOGETHER were my favourite, maria suprised me so much and i didnt know mikel was in the band.... great chance to view a band i never normally could, as they're only playing the occasional show in their local venue clubs, to Lisboa.

www.myspace.com/togetherhxc only been around for 6 months, or less....... portuguese vegan straight-edge, female fronted fast paced hardcore.. get on it!!

whats the favourite moments for you guys?

You noticed, eh? ;-)

I felt so fucking stupid, ha, I did that on thursday when him and I found some electric shavers, for like a sheep or something... I was so insecure, hence the hoodie and hat in the warm weather.

together was so fucking good. hope they're doing another euro tour soon so i can book them this time.

trial was great, too. all the anti-germans are already going crazy on internet boards because greg used the terms "concentration camps" and "palestine" in the same speech without comparing them in any way. but it was enough to trigger the "hidden anti-semitism" and "holocaust alleviation" detectors. the left in this country is really strange.

looking forward to the together video.

for me the best bands were:

- outrage: their set was amazing and the pit was sooo awesome!
- wait in vain
- trial: i wasn't in the mood to see them because of certain reasons, plus the pit wasn't as good as i expected, but they did an awesome show!
- dead vows
- together
- death is not glamorous

i didn't like the have heart set: i'm not a big fan anyway, but they singer had no voice and the band fucked up a few songs.
I can't really understand xrepresentx: they didn't seem stupid people but their lyrics and their merch are

other cool moments:
- the afterparty totally ruled by the italians (with a guest star from this board...)
- meeting again a lot of people and meeting cool new people for the first time
- discussion with greg bennick at the italian distros on sunday
- hanging out in prague/italy with josh and kurt

oh... kofola has a weird taste but i can't help drinking it! :D

yeah, got one from a guy in front of the entrance. the new winds incident was just used as an introduction. the rest was typical anti-german stuff saying that anti-zionism=anti-semitism and all that other narrow-minded dogmatic "you're all so evil" stuff. but it was fun to read.

btw i didn't like kofola at all. i just kept drinking the orange stuff. that was ok.

honestly, i always get pissed off by that stuff. I didn't read it anyway, the zann's interview posted on the board a while ago was enough for me!

This is the article about anti-semitism and new winds words.

http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/7760/p7310161.jpg

This guy Rotem from Tel Aviv wrote a reply to this, but the printer fucked up and print only the end of his letter.

http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/497/p7310162.jpg

You can read the end of Rotem's article says "But when you stand in our ways - when you shit-talk about our struggles, when you lie to make your story better - when you stand together with judofascists and capitalists, you can count us out. Down with capitalism, zionism, antisemitism, antideutsch"

In Saturday there at the cinema tent there was a big presentation about neo-nazism in Czech Republic and the antifascist movement there. The guy from Antifa CZ said that antifascists in Czech Republic are anarchists, so they won't go to Germany and march in solidarity with procapitalist people waiving Israeli or US flags ever. That they support only antiauthoritarian leftists and can't stand with the pro-israeli and pro-american shit. And there were a bunch of German people who started provocing the antifa guys and there was a really intense debate about this topic.

I'm really sad that so many people that have an activist background and are interested in politics were there at Fluff Fest only for the musical part of the festival (the bands playing and the DISCO party) and they didn't visit any of the political discusitions, presentations and movie screenings that were continuing whole three days at the cinema tent.

My favorite moments from Fluff:

Sleeping on the grass in a sleeping bag, without a tent, and watching the falling stars
Meeting all those old friends and making new ones
The 5 hour adventure from Prague to Rokycany
Talking with all the people I was in contact with only through Internet
The vegan food at Country Life in Prague
The guy from Raein who get my DIY raein t-shirt and gave me a Pg.99 t-shirt
Trial
Victims playing in the rain and the dirt
Fall of Efrafa
Analena
Zann
June Paik
Bora
Ghostlimb
Together
Hissing Fauna
Like She
Making the Fluff Zine
The Discussition about antifascism
The movie about Iraqi woman "I'm not a terrorist"
The presentation about squat Milada

Fuck Kofola, I won't drink that or any other caffeine or cola shit like that!

Kofola is caffiene-free. I was there in the tent with the neo-nazi discussion in czech, the blonde girl and the guy? I felt sorry for her because he could, in places, translate his own german into english better than she could so she was just sat there like "oh, okay!", poor girl.

yeah, that was sad with her poor translation. it would be better if he translates his own stuff.

Quote:
Kofola originated in the Czechoslovak pharmaceutical company Galena in the early 1960s during research targeted at finding a possible use for surplus caffeine produced in the process of coffee roasting. The resulting dark-coloured, sweet-and-sour syrup Kofo became the main ingredient of a new soft drink named Kofola introduced in 1962.

Quote:
Kofo syrup, the main ingredient of Kofola, consists of 14 natural ingredients (such as extracts from apple, cherry, currant, or herbal aroma), sugar, and caramel. In comparison with Pepsi or Coca-Cola it contains 30% less sugar, a little more caffeine (17 mg/100ml, Coca-Cola 15 mg/100ml) and it does not contain phosphoric acid.

I uploaded Together video from my camera, but it declined so much in quality when resizing it for youtube...

Ahh people on here were telling me it was totally caffiene-free alternative so I should try it! I shall watch the video, thanks.
