I saw this on another message board and thought i would make one on here. I know that most vegan edge bands of the 90s were underated and didnt get the credit they deserved.. heres some of the bands that i think are underated..

Remain "die alone" ep (this 7"s is simply amazing i wish they would have put more stuff out)

Lazarus Project (from slc some of the best metalcore stuff ive heard)

Decontaminate (dan gumps other band i guess not that many people remember them and those who do didnt like them but i think they were great)

Backside Disaster (they were from orgeon and only put out one cdep and its such a great cd)

Deadwait s/t 7" (its on XLSRX and it one of my fav 7"s of all time ive been looking for there shirt for about 10 years and still no luck)

i have lots of others but lets see everyones elses lists

dude post on notpop.

I don't think many people seem too stoked on 4 Walls Falling or Mean Season these days. Or 1134.

there are, but I guess once you breach the 100 posts mark, you'll seem accepted. Or if you don't post st00p1d crap you'll be cool.

oh one more

Into Another. I bought two of their LPs and wish I would've spent the money on something else. Or at least downloaded them first.

Some of my favorite 90s bands that NO ONE (at least in the US) seems to know or care about:

Slavearc
Blood Runs Black
Suicide Nation
Arms Reach
Deadstare
Contrition
Ultimatum
Upheaval
Enewetak
Fall Silent
Sons of Abraham
Earthmover
Nations on Fire
Final Exit
Lariat
Chapter
Bludgeon
Dragbody
Ironside
Jesuit
Puritan
Keelhaul
Cable
Rubbish Heap
78 Days
Stalingrad
Under Class
Hard to Swallow

The list could go on forever. . .

XdrugfreeprideX: ill see if the burner works.i also have the demo tape."mad titan" is 1 of the best grimlock songs!!.but theres alot.

Kurt, dave agz sung for Warcry!!.hahaha.i had that, but sold it off.oh-well.

i dont think groundwork was underrated at all.maybe bury me standing, but groundwork were well know.threadbare were great!.

struggle, statement(from chula vista)forced down, downcast, that era.ive heard that tim from amenity has said people are working on a chula vista doc.that would be cool to see and i hope it doesnt focus too much on unbroken.although i always went to every 1 of their shows and whatnot, they just got too boring and the band members, except for dave and rob, were real jerks!!!.i use to argue with steve, guitarist bout eXc.he told me i was the only guy in SD who liked them.ha!.vegansXe.

i think he only sang for them for a show or two before getting their other singer or something.

either way, they were really bad and had maybe one decent song. just a half-assed ExC rip off, and i like ExC rip offs so thats saying something.

just about every band from the '90s is under rated, which is a shame. it seems that the only older bands who get credit (and sometimes more than they deserve in my opinion) are old Rev bands.

too many bands to name, but one band i was listening to last night who are rad is Rorscach. any one else into em?

Hey Yosef, I really dig Earthmover, I got the "themes from everyday life" release. Whatever happened to +/- Records? And to Xdrug free prideX, wasn't focal point a xtian band? I think they put out a release called "suffering of the masses", could be wrong.

Earthmover killed. Their guitarist, Andy Dempz, was the one who ran +/-; he also sang for Bloodpact, another excellent band. He just took down the +/- website last year, he hadn't put any records out in a few years but was still sort of doing the distro, but no more. Too bad, that was an excellent label.

Rorschach were a fucking amazing band. Not really underrated (they're still pretty popular,), but great. That whole late 80s ABC No Rio hxc scene was awesome: Born Against, Citizens Arrest, Nausea, Life's Blood, Collapse, Go!, all those bands were great in different ways.
