Just a note to let everyone in on what's coming up for 2008 so far, it's already shaping up to be a busy year for us here!

- First of all the BIRTHRIGHT discography will finally be going to press this week. All of the video problems are worked out and everything is ready to go. The enhanced CD includes all of the songs BIRTHRIGHT released over the years, plus a live video from 1996, a photo and flier section, and more. We're super excited about getting this out and making it available again. Should be available in March 08, now taking pre-orders.

- Also, both RISEN and ANCHOR will be releasing new full-length CD/LPs this Summer in time for their combined European tour. Be sure to keep an eye out for those, both should be available in May 2008, and we should have a pre-order deal available for both in the near future.

- We have added Holland's vegan straight edge representatives, EYE OF JUDGEMENT to the family. We are super excited about this and can't wait to be working with them. They will also be in the studio this Summer and will be releasing a new CD/LP later in 2008, followed by a European tour with our good friends in IN THE FACE OF WAR.

- Other things in the works:
Catalyst Records DVD, featuring video from DAY OF SUFFERING, GATHER, BIRTHRIGHT, EXTINCTION, TO KILL, WAIT IN VAIN and more.

POINT OF NO RETURN discography CD compiling all of the songs they recorded.

And we expect to be announcing the signing of a couple other new bands soon as well.

We are happy to announce that EYE OF JUDGEMENT has joined up with CATALYST RECORDS and will be releasing their next CD/LP with us sometime in 2008, followed by a European tour with IN THE FACE OF WAR (on our sister label, Detournement Records).

Keep an eye out for more EOJ news in the future, they are a great addition to the CATALYST family!

We finally updated and re-worked the web site here, take a minute and check things out, we're pretty happy with it.

Still a couple of updates that need to be finished in the next few days, but for the most part things are ready to go.

We are currently taking orders for the printing of a limited GATHER t-shirt / hoodie design. Both styles will feature the cover artwork from the limited LP release. We are only planning on printing enough of these to cover the orders we get, so if you want one make sure to get your order in before November 10, 2007. All shirts and hoodies will be printed and shipped shortly thereafter.

We also have a few older (and some limited) GATHER t-shirt designs in stock now as well as all of the band's CD and vinyl releases, available through our on-line store.

We are happy to announce that ANCHOR has joined the CATALYST RECORDS family and plans to release their first full-length album in early 2008!

Establishing themselves as one of today's most ambitious bands in the political hardcore genre ANCHOR initiated themselves quickly by releasing their “Captivity Songs” demo followed by touring in Europe soon after.

With ex-members of SET MY PATH and DAMAGE CONTROL these veterans of the hardcore scene show true maturity and intelligence in their approach while their music hits hard by paying tribute to 90s political and straight edge hardcore. ANCHOR’s new album will be available worldwide on CD from CATALYST RECORDS and pressed on vinyl by Poland's REFUSE RECORDS. Keep an eye out for this intense and highly anticipated album coming soon!

We are happy to announce that we have just confirmed an upcoming collaboration with 7 GENERATIONS and RISEN. Each band will be contributing two songs for the 7" EP, and we are hoping for the record to be available in November 2007 (no promises on that).

This is an awesome opportunity for us, especially getting the chance to work with an awesome bands like 7 GENERATIONS, who we have supported for years.

If you haven't guessed we've had some delays at the pressing plant with the Wait In Vain vinyl. At this time we have everything in hand except the pre-order vinyl (of course). It arrived, but wasn't up to par (as in it wasn't really gray at all) so we had to send it back to be re-pressed. We are expecting the re-run of the pre-order vinyl to be available in the next few days (which is what the plant told us).

Sorry about the delays, rest assured you will get your record as soon as we have them available. Thanks for your patience, and for ordering a kick-ass record.
